Spider-Man 2: Marvel’s Web-Slinging Sequel Likely to Launch in September
Tony Todd, the Venom character from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, seems to confirm that the PS5 title will be released in September 2023.

Candymanalum Tony Todd who plays Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 appears to confirm that Insomniac Games’ title will be available on the PlayStation 5 in September.
In the last quarter of 2018, the official PlayStation blog revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was targeting a fall 2023 launch. However, thanks to Todd the fans have now an updated release date. “Looks like September!” the famous actor posted on Twitter when responding to one of his fans. “Massive publicity is coming in [A]ugust. As I was told commercials will begin to appear in [A] august. Make sure you keep your hands on your… and be sure to breathe! It’s going to be necessary.

Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5. This game is a direct sequel to Insomniac’s 2018 title Marvel’s Spider-Man as well as its 2020 spinoff Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Marvel’s Spider-Man originally launched exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in September 2018. An upgraded version of the game then came out for the PS5 in 2020, and then the PC in 2022. Miles Morales, however, was released on the PS4 and PS5 simultaneously in November of 2020 before similarly making its way to PC in 2022.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Stars Two Spider-Men
Marvel’s Spider-Man lets gamers step into the shoes of Peter Parker for an open-world adventure in the Big Apple. Miles Morales, as its title implies, shifts the focus to Miles Peter’s protégé and the other Spider-Man. The spinoff game revolves around Miles his quest to become a hero and is played by Miles who is left to protect New York City. Both Miles and Peter will be the main characters of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The main villains in the sequel are likely Venom and Kraven, the Hunter.

In addition to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac is also developing Marvel’s Wolverine, which centers on the eponymous mutant anti-hero and is set within the same universe as the Spider-Man games. Marvel’s Wolverine will be released as an exclusive PS5 exclusive, similar to Spider-Man 2. At this time, however, no date for release has been locked down. According to reports, Marvel’s Wolverine may launch in mid-2023 or even early 2025.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was developed by Insomniac Games and will be released by Sony Interactive Entertainment in the fall of 2023.
